Hopefully not too far off topic, I came across this piece in The Times on Friday:

I notice that the dates they use exclude the period where several indices and surveys have shown falls in house prices. It seems a little odd to chose Nov 2006- - Nov 2007 as the dates to measure changes in house prices.
The latest survey from Hometrack (who provide the data for The Times) show house prices rose by just 1.4% nationally, year to Feb 2008. (link)0 -

I'm sure the British media has some kind of legal obligation to at least loosely base articles on truth, or at the very least, show a degree of impartiality. They must be breaking some kind of code of conduct with this moronic BS.
