Hopefully not too far off topic, I came across this piece in The Times on Friday:

    Link

I notice that the dates they use exclude the period where several indices and surveys have shown falls in house prices. It seems a little odd to chose Nov 2006- - Nov 2007 as the dates to measure changes in house prices.

The latest survey from Hometrack (who provide the data for The Times) show house prices rose by just 1.4% nationally, year to Feb 2008. (link)

We are an overcrowded island with an ever-growing population....

...and a collection of banks with an ever-shrinking amount of money.

    What could possibly go wrong..?

Its circulation is in freefall (sorry, it's "rising", according to Express-think).
Only because BHS virtually gives them away with meals. Worse than the Sun!

Thank you for making your complaint to the Press Complaints Commission about the article published in the Daily Express on the 29/03/08.

For breach of the Accuracy Code of Conduct :naughty:

Does anyone know anyone who actually reads the Express? Like seriously, who buys it? Whats it for? If I were in the tinfoilhat brigade I would say the express is part of some conspiracy to make us all into morans.

I'm sure the British media has some kind of legal obligation to at least loosely base articles on truth, or at the very least, show a degree of impartiality. They must be breaking some kind of code of conduct with this moronic BS.

Anyone who buys this paper should be ashamed. I wouldn't wipe my bum with it.
