No - if you look down the left side of the regedit pane it's just like using Explorer. So first thing is click on the "+" next to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE to expand it, then click on the "+" next to SYSTEM and so on til you get to the entry you want.
You could use search as well, but try the above first.

im nearly there sussed it found upper and lower filtrers but there is an
