thanks so much for this one!

i received it yesterday and it's really a nice wee cd player. not bad sound for such small thing

i'll be the player and some of the paper to our new neighbours. we're all in university family housing and are all skint and they weren't able to bring much with them from the states so they'll really appreciate this :p

    Hi,

Tried to order the paper 5 minuteas ago - was told only applied to existing customers - very disappointed.

Tried to order the sellotape instead Q51-57403 - was told that was a internet only offer.

Disappointed but happy for those who got the offer.
  • Thanks for the info guys.

I have just ordered the chair, the sellotape and the cd-hifi for £35.12.

I have always wanted a halfway decent chair to use whilst at my computer, I have been looking for a cheap cd player to play my hypnosis cds on whilst I am asleep (only time I have!).

The nice lady wouldn't let me order the paper though as she said it was someone's personal code - she said I might get a similar code to order the paper for my second order.

A very successful money saving exercise - and I finally figured out how to register to post! (WooHoo). Good day all round

    Hi Deb,

Now ring back and tell them that you have now decided to go for the paper offer that the last lady told you of and they will add it to your order!

    Cheeky I know, but....

Got my leather chair, 10 reams of decent ish quality paper, CD player and sellotape....well chuffed especially with the leather chair!
My OH put it together (which is a big deal - trust me!), and thought he was some screws missing, but infact they were already attached to the chair (dur!).
All this for £34.96 including VAT....AND with free delivery!
    Top banana!

Am getting a little bit confused here now! Can some of the lucky paper receivers advise me - are you all existing customers ie with an account number already and is that why you were able to order? As I said yesterday when I tried to order was told twice I couldn't do it as I wasn't an existing customer and since offer was being abused they were not allowing any more first time orderers to get the paper. Does it just depend if you get a nice operator or an awkward one? Thank you for any advice.

Hi, I had never placed an order with them before, and didn't have an account. I phoned up and she set up the a/c for me over the phone and took the order with no problems, she didn't query it at all.

I had never used Viking before and opened an account (business, as I work from home)
I spoke to a very nice chap, and gave him the order codes for the chair, paper, sellotape and the free cd player. He told me about the free P&P too and sent a catalogue.
