Wheeeeee! Got my paper and free fradio/CD thingy this morning- just like they promised! Not sure if I have been charged for delivery though...says not on the picking list so fingers crossed.

Got my paper and radio/CD Player today, ordered yesterday. I would like to say this is one of the best offers I have received and would like to thank all posters involved in spotting it.

I too tried to order yesterday but was told I could not enjoy that offer since I am a new customer.

Was going to order sellotape but glad I did not. Or else I would have to pay 5 pounds something for the sellotape and then not able to order the paper at reduced price today.

(The CSR told me yesterday that the discounted paper will be available for another few weeks - I KNEW it may not be true.)

It seems many people have had very good experience with them. I really need to buy cello tape, ink, paper etc. But the unpleasant experience with them yesterday has put me off

Could I ask... where does it say that the first order should be FREE postage? Is it in the catalogue somewhere? If so what page? If so, I am going to request my postage back!!!

just had my order delivered, chap said there were 4 items on his delivery sheet, but only 3 on the pallet, so I signed for the 2 boxes of paper and the cd player. phoned Viking, explained and they credited me for the sellotape. 10 mins later, the chap was back at the door, my cellotape and welcome pack had been put in someone elses box - they had phoned and he went back and collected it and brought it to me - I then phoned Viking again to let them know and they said the credit had already gone and I could keep it FOC for the inconvenience. First class service - Thanks again to OP.

Thanks for that elvis_bloggs, even though I got this offer, I think I was the only one that paid full price for the paper :rolleyes: . But still worth it for the CD player, I am glad so many people took advantage of this offer. No hard fellings Viking Direct.

Where is my radio/CD thingy?

Just recieved two hefty boxes of paper from a nice delivery man (Well worth the 90p, will never need to purchase any more for the next 5 years) but when I asked him if that was it he said there was nothing else for me! I will be ringing Viking to demand my music centre... Let's hope they provide.

The boombox is brilliant .... nice and easy to use for an 8 year old and she absolutely loves it ..... she's gonna make up some special CD's to play on it later :rolleyes: it's CD-R/RW playable :T

erm .... that paper will no way last me to the end of the year though .... are you allowed to place more than one order for it??
