Hope this helps0 -
This is a good price - if the spec meets your requirements - if you consider how much the parts would cost you to build a similar machine yourself:
-This Dell Dimension 3000 with Celeron 2.66GHz 533MHz Processor
-1024Mb DDR 333MHz RAM £90
-160Gb Hard Drive £55
-16x Speed DVD+/-ReWriter Drive £30
-Cordless Mouse )
-Cordless Keyboard ) £20
-Dell Speakers £10?
-56k Data/Fax Modem £10?
-Windows XP Home SP2 £50
-Microsoft Works 7.0
-15" TFT Flat Panel Monitor £100
-FREE Dell 720 InkJet Printer
So you're almost up to £380 and you still have to add on a case, PSU, motherboard and CPU.
It may be worth considering having the Logitech keyboard - I think it will add about £20 onto the price but the retail price of these keyboards/mice is £70!! So you could sell it or have a rather nice keyboard.0 -
For anyone looking for a laptop this deal on a packard bell from currys looks quite good ...... http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=82504
