Help!!!
Is this any good? I'm after a cheap basic laptop, just for internet and basic stuff, perhaps the odd game, but no photo/video stuff. I know nothing about laptops, but any time one comes up on this site, there is a barrage of alternative machines, that just confuses me. I do read the other links, but they confuse me as well. I know it the old "how long is a piece of string" question, but would some of the laptop exterts buy one of these for a basic machine, or should I spend a little more, for a better machine?
This is sad, but I only need something to replace my Pentium II, 233MHz, Windows 95,
desktop!
Thanks for any advice.0 -
The 25 pound off code is for Cheltenham and Gloster, can anyone use it??0

This is back in stock in Currys, but there doesn't seem to be any interest in it.
Does that mean it's not such a good deal?
Any help from the computer people please.0 -

NO I would avoid Packard Bell just like Time and Tiny went bust. I would go for the dell machine offer but again I don't like Dell much!!. :rotfl:0 -
Thank you bytie bit.
I'll keep looking for a cheap basic laptop.
If you see any good deals please post them up.0
