Ok, I listed some more books on Amazon, but I won't be holding my breath...I seem to sell none for months and then several in a batch and then nothing again, and I sold a couple last month...

As for what someone asked about what people are doing with the money (good question, if you're nosy, I am too :rotfl: )

I am putting mine towards a fund to show that I have enough money to support myself as a student when I apply for a visa to study in the US. A small drop in the ocean, but it all helps. Well, either that or I may end up spending it on more tattoos...:o

• Ok, a few things

1. BatGirl, I don't know what this person is saying to you but you do not deserve anything bad said about you. You have been nothing but helpful as far as I can see! ;)

2. Onepoll's looking snazzy - think it's had a makeover!!

3. What I'm doing with this extra money is paying off my credit card as quickly as possible and then paying off my Natwest loan way before it's due to end. Once I've done that I'm ignoring my student loan (it's not a REAL debt is it?) and then saving to a) go travelling for a year and b) get a deposit on a flat for when I get back

4. I have SMASHED this months target. Or at least I will have by the end of the month. I've won quite a lot on the b0ngo and won £100 on Yukon Gold Casino(got a cheque but not paid it in yet so I've not counted it yet) . Also sold a Pinocchio DVD for nearly £40(!) on Play.com. :j

Anyway, that's enough from me. Not playing b0ngo tonight. Need a break from it as it hurts my eyes!!

finally reached 1000 piggypoints, M&S vouchers are still sold out and boots has gone up to 1150 points

I've just discovered that Boots vouchers have gone up in piggypoints too!

OH has finally reached the 1000 mark today and I was hoping he was going to cash them in for a £10 Boots voucher for me, so I can use it to top up my phone! I'll have to hold off texting/phoning my mates even longer!

(Perish the thought of having to part with real cash to top up!) ;)

Thank you.

Might not be logging on to MSE for the next few days been having some horrible PMs from someone not very happy with this thread and don't like logging on and finding them so i am going to keep away for a couple of days, if you see my green light on saying I am here it will be OH as he logs in somedays on my user to browse.

Hope you all have a fab few days of money making

Batgirl

Just seen this Batgirl.

You really need to forward the pm's to abuse@moneysavingexpert.com

Abusive pms are just as unacceptable as abuse on the forum and shouldn't be tolerated from anyone. The person sending them is more than likely sending similar messages to other people too. Please forward them to abuse and don't be scared away by somebody else's small-mindedness. xx

(You can block pm's from individual people, by the way. If you add them to your ignore list, they can't send pm's to you either.)

Haha thats my downfall too :rotfl:
Was already discussing my next one while getting inked at the same time!! :rotfl:

Must be good though and wait till I've sorted out moving house as that's not exactly cheap

In other news, just earned another 20p on PureProfile :D

And Batgirl, I think you're a star, and it's only thanks to this challenge that I've had the courage to start chatting to other people on here rather than just asking for and offering help. You and a few others have made me feel really welcome :T Hate to think that some nasty person is driving you away :( Hope it gets sorted and you come back to us soon xxxx

Batgirl, firstly great news on the hours at work, that must be such a relief for you. As for the other stuff - you've been a great help starting this thread, putting the list of people together and encouraging things along. Please don't be put off posting, we'd miss you!

On the challenge front, put some books on Greenmetropolis and some CDs on eBay tonight, also got a free £10 to spend on online casino on a betting site, won £14 on roulette (in little bits and pieces, withdrew everytime I was over £1 up so I didn't end up spending my winnings)! :)
Debt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012.

Batgirl that is so horrible and I really hope that it doesn't push you away from this site. Whoever it is must be a pretty small person if they feel they have grounds to say those things and think that they can slate you. You have been really helpful to me and I love the way that you always post and hold this thread together and always reply to new joiners and questions. Please don't be deterred from the site or this thread as I think that you like it (that sounds wierd but I hope you know what I mean) and you shouldn't miss out on something because of someone elses nastiness. Follow the above blocking things and don't let it get you down ok? :grouphug:

Glad your hours are to stay basically the same and please don't stop posting, for the sake of one nasty person, please follow jo_b's advice and ban her sending emails to you, if you cannot bring yourself to complain about her
