I find Mac makeup shops are really user friendly, and not at all intimidating.
www.maccosmetics.co.uk They have an email facility here where you can email a makeup artist,to ask questions.

They would give you advice and a,trial maybe . A bottle of foundation is about £21,and is the best quality I have ever used,it just makes your skin glow(mineralize satinfinish spf 15).They have shops on their own in some places, and some eg in Debenhams. They also do very natural looking lip gloss.I had never worn satinfinish foundation ,as I have seen staff laden with it in Cosmetics shops, and didn't like the "too dewy" effect, but this is subtle .You could also get a diy microdermabrasion kit (tesco skin wisdom about £10.00)only be gentle (not suitable for sensative skin.)
  • TJ HUghes have lipfinity for £2.99 and in a wide range of colours too

Hi i have read that you need more make up for photos as they don't show as you being caked but will look far nicer for the pics, saying that i don't want to look like a clown for the rest of the day!
i wear makeup every day and i have to say less is more imo but then i haven't had to have pics taken of me all the time! I am going to do some trials and really need to get my hair sorted as we are getting married on a cruise ship and i need to know if they don't do it as well i can always jump in!
