U need to use the synsonline function on SW website or a food directory to look it up0

Can anyone also tell me how you work out how many syns you are allowed per day . As far as I can make out it is anywhere between 5 and 15. Really confused.
Finding this much harder to work out than weight watchers. Someone tell me it gets easier please0 -
Yes that's right, between 5 and 15 to lose weight. It isn't a rigid amount. If at the end of the day you want something, and it takes your syns up to 15, you can have it. If you only use a couple of syns, thats fine.
In fact if you go out and have 45 syns, that is fine too. You probably won't lose weight that week, but you won't be made to feel guilty. (which can be the begining of the end of a diet)
If you have 15 syns a day and lose weight, great, if your weight loss slows, or you want a bigger loss, cut down on the syns.
Above all, be flexible, and don't think of any food as being 'bad', just some foods have to be had in moderation, and other foods can be eaten as often as you like.
Good luck, and yes, it does get easier to plan your meals, just sometimes it is still just as hard to stick to the plan.Quidco cashback paid out so far £745.89 :j0 -

It does get easier, I started SW in October and at first I was reluctant to try green days as eating loads of carbs seems against the perceived wisdom but I am happy to say it is working.
There is a thread on this board where lots of us chat about diets in general and we all post our weightloss weekly, you might like to have a look at it?
It's here
Well done to everyone who has lost this week:j0 -
