more than one isa provider

hi everyone, providing I don't exceed the investment amount for isa's i.e 3000 or3600 pounds, does anyone know whether i can invest with two providers in the same tax year? Thanks

No you can't you can only have one ISA in any one tax year

I have 2 mini cash ISAs at the moment with different providers. Could I next month, open an ISA to only transfer the old money across and open a new ISA with barclays for the 2008-9 allowance, or is that opening 2 accounts in the same tax year?

You can open as many ISAs as you want in one tax year provided you only pay money into one.

You can therefore open an ISA by transferring as it doesn't count as new money, as well as open a brand new ISA for new money.
