Briefly read t&c and it seems like no contract. What do the rest of you make of this though :
(* If you use a non BT telephony provider (i.e. indirect access with PIN diallers or smart boxes) to channel your calls, your provider may charge additionally for internet calls. )
So if you have BT line but use Onetel for calls - Onetel will charge for time spent online???? I assumed the anytime number would be a freephone one anyway???

it is if you have to dial in a special code - before you can input who evers telephone number, or if you have a box plugged into your bt telephone socket point that adds the numbers instead.
if you basically type in 01234 567890 to call abc - then your ok, if you have no box to do this for you - or if you have to type in 1234 01234 567890 - where 1234 is the pin number for a provider so you get cheap calls - you not ok.
basically, nowadays since bt had to open up their services on competition grounds - their competitors should be allowed its users to just type in a number as normal, without the need for a box that will do it automatically, or add in a pin number
hope this helps - if you can make out what i have mentioned........ hateit when i know what i mean, but cant type it in0 -

I think this is just for people who sign up for their pay as you go service - probably an 0845 number - and different telepone providers would charge differentt rates for 0845 numbers.0 -
Thanks for your reply MrJ. Also malc re: smallprint, the single * referred to the Anytime access not PAYG.
Thanks anyway - Urk0 -

Brief update: This month's billing date has come and gone and they took another month's money. Have emailed three times to ask why when I gave over a week's notice to change to PAYG before this month's billing. First two replies had the same cut and paste "I can confirm your account will change to PAYG in September" reply, the third says someone will give me a ring to resolve the matter.0 -

They have a cancellation service which you can call on 0800 085 2819 but I don't know whether this would be useful if you just want to change to PAYG.0
