    frugallass Have you actually been charged, or is this entire thread based on your misunderstanding that the order of transactions within a working day actually matters?

    Based on what you've said, i.e. that a SO inward and a DD outward both hit your account on Tuesday, I don't believe you would have been charged, although if you were it would be correct under A&L's Ts & Cs as the money should have been there by close of play Thursday.

    I'm not going to comment any further, it was a simple post with a simple question at the end and I just wanted to know if anyone else had the same experience.

    It may have been a simple post with a simple question, but the header was hardly in keeping with your avowed aim.

    So, you haven't actually been charged and the whole thread is a misleading accusation?
