Oh my God, last week went oh so very wrong, I don't think I could've made a bigger mess than I did of last weeks plan.
So take two, heres this weeks attempt:
Friday dunno, I had savoury rice, oh could have eaten anything
Saturday lasagne with onion rings and garlic bread (if I go to Tescos)
Sunday Chilli
Monday Not sure, maybe a bit of a fry up
Tuesday hm burgers and fries
Wednesday Toad in the hole (my fave)
Thursday veg fingers and wedges
Hope I manage it this week coz I spend less wen I stick to the planWhen life gives you lemons......Grab a bottle of tequila and call me over!

Quick Q anyone whos around
If i make Toad in the Hole, do i need a roasting tin thing to cook it in? Would a normal oven-proof dish not get hot enough for the yorkshire to cook or does it not matter?
Not making it tonight or anything but it was just a random though that popped into my head as i was reading peoples meal plans
Thanks

Hi Hun!
I always use a roasting tin as I find the oven dishes dont get as hot as I would like. It can be done though, but I find the batter doesnt rise as much.
Good Luck!

Sunday - pigeon breast casserole, mash, veg; baked apples and custard
Monday - vegetable calzone (pepper, mushroom, corn, tomato, olive)
Tuesday - pancakes
Wednesday - pasta bolognaise; apple pies
Thursday - out for tea with relatives after the theatre
Friday - will be inspired later in the week

Mt plan went to pot last week as spent the bank holiday weekend helping hubby to fit kicthen as my sisters house. As she had no kitchen/cooker, and I didn't have the energy to come up wth anything else, we ended up having takeaway friday, sat & sun. At least my parents came to the rescue for Monday a did a roast for us all.
Anyway, enough of my ramblings, this week:
Fris- mystery shop
Sat - lamb casserole & dumplings (bumped from last week!)
Sun - roast beef dinner (bough large piece - there is only two of us, so I cut it in half and have frozen half)
Mon - Hot LO beef baguettes and wedges.
Tues - Either sausage, mash, veg & yorkshire or HM fish & chips (this keeps being bumped)
Wed - Mystery shop
Thurs - Mysery shop
Fri - Chilli & Rice (f)0 -

Glad you had a good holiday PP. Your meal-planner sounds lovely!
Where do you get the pigeon from and how do you cook it? I have had it before but just picked at it but I know someone who eats the bones too...is this normal?
