    hi everyone, yeah light nights are on the way :j

    this week we will mostly be eating...........

    wed, stir fried mexican steak with pepper, mushroom, courgette, fennel, onion.

    thurs, salmon fillets with mushroom & sweetcorn lemon cous cous

    fri, hm falafel in pittas with salad and tahini/yoghurt sauce (friend for dinner)

    sat, toad in the hole with mash, carrot & turnip, cauliflower & roast parsnip

    sun, hm pizza & salad

    mon, omelette & hm wedges

    tues, morrocan chicken and whatever veg is left

    have a good week :D
    - prior planning prevents poor performance!

    After overspending in March, and a shameful woe is me post in the March GC thread I am now posting this weeks, and next weeks meal plan

    Friday fish for DH and me, fish fingers for DS2
    Saturday ham, egg, chips? and beans
    Sunday Roast chicken (need to buy this, will put half in gravy for next week, and make a chicken pie with leg/wing meat)
    Monday sausage casserole/toad in the hole mash and veg
    Tuesday salmon and jacket spuds for me and DH, homemade pizza for kids
    Wednesday chilli and rice (from this weeks batch cook)
    Thursday chicken pie from left over roast (will make on Sunday)
    Friday shepherds pie for kids(in freezer), steak for DH, salmon for me.
    Saturday recipe using mince pork (probably pork and apricot meatballs?)
    Sunday Frozen chicken from above
    Monday homemade quiche potatos and veg
    Tuesday mince in gravy mash and veg (have a 1kg lot in freezer, so will use 1/3 for hamburgers, 1/3 for tonight and 1/3 for a lasagne.
    Wedneday hopefully home made curry from left over roast will make up and freeze
    Thursday lasagne from tuesday cook.

    Hopefully this will clear out the freezer, so I can defrost it in preparation for the bumper allotment crop this year:rotfl: .

    Sat - ???
    Sun:- Beef Stew, Pots & YP
    Mon:- HM Pizza & HM Wedges
    Tues:- Spanish chicken
    Weds:- Faggots, Mash & Peas
    Thurs:- HM Spag Bol
    Fri:- Egg & HM Chips

    Here we are again - last week fell apart a bit but with luck this week will be better:T

    Friday: Sausage egg chips and beans (OH cooked it - heaven:j )
    Saturday: Bolognese and HM garlic bread
    Sunday: Pork fillet (never got eaten 2 weeks ago)
    Monday: Sausage pasta bake(huge pk of cocktail saus from Xmas)
    Tueday: Chilli and nachos
    Wednesday: HM pizzas (if I get the bases in the freezer this weekend)
    Friday: Salmon fish cakes (in freezer - didn't get to use them this week!!)

    I have to keep it simple this week as I'll be working all hours - OH has said I should let him have a go at it so we'll see how he gets on;)

    I havent done mine properly as we are trying a new routine this week but so far I have got

    fri: chili
    sat: new recipe bolognese
    sun: roast
    mon: dont know maybe chix pie
    tues: beef casserole in slo cooker
    wed: dont know maybe chicken legs from roast
    thurs: curry in slo cooker
