Have Inteligent Finance reduced their rate?

Logged on to my IF ISA and I noticed that for some reason I have received less interest paid into my account this month than last month. It has been increasing month on month but this month it's dropped.

No, they are still advertising 5.1%

I can't check mine as I'm on annual interest.

Any ideas why they should have reduced the interest payment for this month then, before I get on the phone and rant?

You are best off asking them how they calculate the interest.

Maybe it's just because there are 31 days in August and only 30 in September.

I'm shifting mine from IF to halifax for the 5 year fixed rate. Invest and forget.

Though they are doing it a funny way ! first has to go to a variable rate cos they can't guarantee what rate I will get, then once its a variable ISA then at a press of a button they can make it a Fixed rate ISA, Well I will hold them to that statement and may come back to bite halifax if they mess things up !
