Next Year's ISA Choice

I am going to take out a stocks & Shares ISA in April (through HL) and wish to receive income from it. I have narrowed it down to 2 options:-
Invesco Perpetual Monthly Inc (6% yield)
or
Schroder Monthly Maximizer (7% Yield)
I know that the Invesco option is based on bonds and some equities which seems safer although less "sexy" and that in both cases my capital sum would be eroded if the market fell further. On that basis I wondered what everyone's opinion would be as to which fund I should go for? By the way this is a long term investment that I would be happy to leave for 5 years plus.
Many Thanks
Paul

Hi Paul,
If you like the look of both, why not split your money between the two funds?"Success is the ability to go from failure to failure without losing your enthusiasm" (Sir Winston Churchill)0 -
Thanks Liz, I am considering the idea of an equal split.
I was wondering if anyone else had any opinions on those two funds?
