BIG car insurance problem =[

I would wait until you actually get your renewal invite through from your insurer. They will more than likely keep the premium in line with last year. 2 non fault claims won't make that much of a difference if any. The rims might push your theft excess up but shouldn't push the premium up. There are plenty of brokers that can quote competetively for mods young drivers etc so if your renewal invite is ott then maybe have a look at Adrian Flux or someone like that.0

I don't know about anyone else but we have never ever had a renewal quote for any type of insurance...be it car, buildings/contents, or motorbike etc stay anywhere near the previous years price. Even when no claims have been made renewals always go up.....and I don't mean by just a few £££.:heart2: Love isn't finding someone you can live with. It's finding someone you can't live without :heart2:0 -
young.. MR2.. try Adrian Flux or one from the back of Max Power who specialise in insurance for young drivers and performance cars.0

I have always found Direct Line or Zurich to be the cheapeat for car insurance although my car isnt in same league as yours but still worth a try.
Also i dont know how many miles you do but have you thought about pay as you drive insurance?Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass,it's about learning to dance in the rain.0 -
I'd also recommend Adrian Flux.
Oh, be careful to list EVERY modification. You might think you'll get away with hiding a few 'details', but if something nasty happens (touch wood not) and the assessor spots something you didn't list, you won't get a bean.
Good luck.0 -
My esure premiums for the last 6 years are as follows:I don't know about anyone else but we have never ever had a renewal quote for any type of insurance...be it car, buildings/contents, or motorbike etc stay anywhere near the previous years price. Even when no claims have been made renewals always go up.....and I don't mean by just a few £££.
March 2002 £359
March 2003 £252
March 2004 £240
March 2005 £239
Sept 2005 £14 (changed car) so equivalent annual £267
March 2006 £254
March 2007 £??? (can't find it)
March 2008 £229
So no, it doesn't go up every year for everyone. Other than changing car, my premium has gone down every single year with the same insurer. The only other thing that's changed in that time is my age - I've had full NCD throughout.
Oh, actually, I added business use on in 2007 too. But the premium didn't go up.
People often allege that insurers load renewal premiums and give their best deals to new customers. I don't believe that esure do this, as the figures above seem to show.0
