Boots Grabbit Bargains Part 21 - Post your finds here

Afternoon Everyone!

Was my first visit to the Trafford Centre today and was very excited about having a new Boots to bootsy in lol! But I have to say that I was really disappointed! There were no expert tins, no no17 eyeliners, and NO CLEARANCE SHELF!!!! I was gutted! I did manage to print out 2 x Med coupons though but when I got to the till with the stuff it bleeped, the SA very kindly offered to over ride the till but I had to tell her I'd changed my mind because I doubt very much she owuld have given he the bath stuff free and just charged me for the soap lol. Anyways, on the way home we decided to stop at the Boots near IKEA in Leeds as we ere literally passing it and I was very pleased with my purcahses - managed to get 2 x No17 eye liners @ 50p each and a lip glaze with each from the HB mag and picked up 6 x No.7 nail sets and some aftershave for hubby 2b for his wedding present with free mp3 player So, it wasn't a total wasted journey, although I didn't find any wedding shoes which was the main point of the trip ! Desperately need some and can't find any I like - I may compain to Boots for not doing wedding shoes lol.

Oh by the way, Leeds/Ikea Boots also had the expert tins in - I didn't bother as didn't need anything but may help someone else if they are looking

Passion and Ruby - no champagne / hatboxes / reduced Ted Baker vanity cases but as I got 6 of these nail thingies if you would like some please let me know

Thanks for that...I've got one voucher left so if they have the soap I'll give it a whirl. Otherwise it's vouchers from P St and the till bleeping, worst luck. Oh well......

I definately think that only the branches which stock the soap will give you the vouchers from the ACM though. Which would be perfectly logical. Oh well...must get DD a card soon, and she can start using it for her scooty little make up buys and the odd teenager thing, as well as extra vouchers for her old mum.

I tried the Med voucher in Tower Centre Ballymena but it beeped. Fairhill Centre has no soap so couldn't try there.

Has anyone in N.Ireland got the voucher to work yet? BTW quite a few of the Ted Baker bags in the Fairhill Boots (they are at the cheaper price of £4.5 and £3.5) while Tower Centre are at £9.50 (got it scanned). Loads of the Expert tins at Tower Centre none at Fairhill.

The Sanctuary velvet bag was reduced to £10 in Tower Centre but the SA got the last one, when I asked at the Fairhill Boots they did a price check and it was still £20 - go figure. Neither of the shops had any of the No7 Nail sets.

Hope thats of some help to someone.

They had 30+ tins today?! I walked past them all , near the razors upstairs on their own stand. Either you missed them or they sold like crazy! :eek:

TC was poo today, absolutley rammed and it's a 'beepy boots' Did use the SS for some new MF GWP's though

What a shame it wasn't fruitful for you

Re clearance shelf: There is a crappy one downstairs with some manky No7 on but thats about it for TC. With it being such a mainstream store, its updates (17 eyeliner packaging etc) are quickly sorted unfortunately, and the clearance stuff litereally flies off the shelfs. Not good for bargains at all there!

not always. i got vouchers at the branch where they dont stock med soap
