attention for all birmingham bootsters!the daily mail is giving away a free boots skincare item with every paper purchased.i managed to get a boots time delay worth £10 , think the most expensive item is £12.50, you just tear out coupon to use in boots.x

Is there a b'ham edition of daily mail or is this nationwide? I might have to go back to town:D

EDIT: I think I mis-read your post. Are you saying you collect the free item when purchasing the paper, or is there a voucher inside the paper to redeem at boots?

    I am gutted!

Waited in all day for a parcel to be collected, and in my bones, I had said I want to go to Basingstoke today with all these reports of cheap S & G. As I remembered there were loads upstairs!!!

    How many left?

I am going first thing 9am!!!!

Going to get loads to do hampers, but also thinking, if anyone wants me to grab any, thats if there are any left, please pm me.

I know Brocolo is nr to Guildford, so I can meet you LOL

I know lilaclilly is nr to Camberley as is Hesjane

So more than happy to grab!

    K x

I am close to Staines and WOking branches, so if anyone ever needs to know what's available in those stores, let me know. Between us, I reckon we've got Surrey covered! :T

Hi jemclajess:hello: I've just got back from town. Had a really good shop in Boots today.

The No7 sets were behind the No7 counter. I nearly didn't see them, but I took a short cut through No7 stand, and there they were-on the floor:j
I took one to main till and asked SA to check price. It scanned at 2.50 so I asked SA if I could go back and get 1 more. She said" grab 2, they are on 3 4 2. I thanked her for reminding me (how could I forget? must be my age:rotfl: ) I paid with points. Then I grabbed 3 more and repeated the transaction. I got 6 sets for 1000points:T I've got loads of b'days coming up and these will make lovely b'day presents:D (DD has just grabbed one, lol)

The med voucher didn't work for me either. Till beeped, so I told SA I didn't want the med items. Gosh, how fast did they fix this glitch? spoil sports;)

Well done for getting the mailing:T I never get these:(can you use the 500 points voucher on accessories? some cost less than 5.00

Will post shopping list in a mo!

Lucky you - wish I had the guts to look behind the counter but ever since the No7 GWP glitch that I managed 4 times and this being my first one since getting addicted to this Boots forum, I have always felt guilty when going anywhere near the No7 counter. I doubt there will be any left when I go to town next week - they would have made great presents for my DD's and friends (my 13 year old is addicted to nail stuff at the moment ever since my 17 year old DD paid for her to have nail extensions professionally done for her christmas present - she even had me bidding on some on e-bay recently!!!:o

I've just got back from Worthing boots (town centre) and managed to get (3 separate transactions):

Med Almond Soap (£1.50) and Med almond pistachio & olive body scrub (FREE !!!!)
Med Almond Soap (£1.50) and Med almond pistachio & milk body butter (FREE!!)
Med Almond Soap (£1.50) and Amazon forest brazil nut & vanilla bath creme (FREE !!)

I'm not sure whats going on but I used the ACM vouchers with each - maybe it's varying from store to store. I will post pictures of my receipts on here later for you all ......... but in the meantime ......... i'm off to Bognor to see if I can get some more !
