Hi, I'm wondering if someone who shops in central London can help me...

I often shop in the 4 storey Boots near Bond Street tube (think it's called London Colney.) However, besides the shelves on the top floor in the baby section, are there any other clearance sections? I know where the clearance shelf in the small store next to Bond Street station is, how about the large 2-storey store near Tottenham Court Road station?

Oh, and how about Boots in Brent Cross shopping centre?

Thanks in advance for your help!

Oh, meant to ask, has anyone seen the MF boxes at any of the above stores? Thanks!

been thinking ..............why do we all do this?
Do we all really need to save pennies on our smellies? Or is it the thrill of stuff for nothing when we spot a glitch?Or is it the points which we see as 'free'money?

I wonder if the powers that be at Boots are pulling our strings!!!

Absolutely, and a very good point (also very well commented on by valk_scott). I spent a huge amount of money in Boots last year and nothing whilst I did Tescoing instead. The only way to win is to not think of the points as actual money off the product. Also, the only way to actually beat Boots at this game is to buy stuff on glitches/whatever and sell them on, getting your money back and keeping the points for yourself. Time consuming stuff and how many of us can be bothered?

I've got some £180 of points on my card and don't really need any more make-up/toiletries/whatever for at least a year. So what am I doing here? Half the fun is in the chase and that's what most of us enjoy, I think.

    Now.....hatboxes....nail sets....almondy thingies..... :D

No sign of expert tins ANYWHERE in my local. No expert soap either. And tried buying expert baby wipes with 1/2 price PC voucher (currently BOGOF). It charged me for one set of wipes and put the other ones through half price (instead of bOGOF I got BOGO half price). No MF boxes Clearance rubbish. and  again ! However, SA was really lovely !:T

I cannot find the expert tins neither. I tried 3 Branches in Liverpool yesterday. The smaller branches were easy to search, but the larger branch took ages. Which section are people finding them in? I notice that clearance_risha found them in the photo department:confused:.

I would appreciate it if any Liverpool bootser can pm me if they have found any. Also op have commented that expert is on 342, is that right? I did not see any signs in store yesterday.

Just a quick note to say that all the coupons that I offered last night have gone so, no need to pm me about them.

Phew! I really thought I would have to put them into the recycling!:eek::eek::eek::eek:

Hmmmm shall I or shant I get 93 packs of wipes and 2 safety gates lol

    1st...
    lindam alarm gate 24.99
same again on 1/2 price 12.49
33 packs boots baby wipes (on £3 for 3 plus 400(not advertised 200) pts per £10 spend) £32.67

    Extra 600pts on .com
plus 500 on £60 from code thread

    pay 70.15 get 2547 pts

    2nd...
63 packs boots baby wipes as before £62.37
will be 2400 extra points, plus the 600 and 500 again

    pay 62.37 get 3689 points

    both = 132.15 get 6236pts

Was going to have to spend £60 on safety gates anyway, so when I take off the cost of the gates and the points it works out 9.79 for the 96 wipes...in a round about way, argh what to do? Hell of a lot of dosh lol

Just been on .com I brought the gates and wipes spent £67 and got 1753 points :j needed other stuff too so couldn't afford as many wipes as you brought.

:rotfl: I'm sitting here having a coffee, whilst KJ1980 runs around basingstoke getting TONS of stuff for me, just 4 hatboxes, but I think she was slightly shocked when I said 20 ted baker mini aftershave collections! Just hoping she has enough points!

Anyway, better get off my butt, need to put my lippy on and go to Boots:rotfl:

I'm not in Liverpool, but in my little local store the tins were right next to the entrance. I've not actually seen them in larger stores.

Not all Expert is on 3 for 2, but the Expert skincare stuff is as part of the 3 for 2 on skincare.

Still in my basket...I'm procrastinating...which is good considering my imminent trip to Boots when I finish my coffee and KJ1980 emptying Basingstoke for me.

Just going to go for the gates/wipes order, not second I think! Second ones points are so alluring though! Not sure! Did you go for a lindam pressure fit? If so alarm or non alarm? Leep wondering if Alarm is good as I am a forgetful thing or bad because everything in the house keeps beeping and beepy stuff drives me insane. Plus, my goodness...more batteries!

Coffee done, Hi Ho, Hi Ho, it's off to Boots I go. My poor poor son!
