    Hi Deborah

I bought 8 packs of Huggies wipes last week using a 500 points on £10 spend(kind swop from fellow MSE) on bogof. My daughter uses a pack evey couple of weeks so wont last too long!!! I think they might dry out a bit if you kept them for a long time!

My ACM vouchers are not very good.

    50p on 17 lip gloss
50 points on natural col juicy lips
250 points on total expert body range
    250 points on 3 min hair mask#
    £1 off botanics bathing range
50 points on gor feet range

My daughter got the same except

100 points on nat col juicy lips
    bogof on fcuk sport
bogof on hackett london for men.

    What did you get?

No mailing yet for either of us.

Decided today to take a BOOTS purse in my bag with only Boots stuff and card in it, as all the Boots things were taking over my purse and I keep losing my card in amongst the vouchers!!1LOL.

Told the SA about it and she remembered me not being able to find my card the other day, she even remembered my name!!!!

    k

Yes of course they're pulling our strings. We all think ourselves very smart and of course we are...collectively we can see the cracks in the system and exploit them. But Boots could sort out the till glitches and tighten up the T&Cs on vouchers etc perfectly well. If they wanted to. It's only a question of tweaking the till programming and staff training a little. Boots make a LOT of money...they could afford to do this if they wished. :D

Absolutely. And I remember two online extra points glitches that were corrected within a couple of hours.

We all (me too!) fall into the trap of thinking we have 'saved' money, so a £27 spend with £15 worth of points seems to have cost £12, when in fact we have £27 less in our pocket, and the £15 isn't in our bank account, but waiting to be used in Boots.

I have now done 3 months cold turkey from Bootsing, and am amazed at how much longer I keep cash in my purse.

What I need to work on now is 'spending' the stupid amount of points I built up! And not allowing us to redeem them online, which would take their tech dept no time to set up, is another clever way of getting our money.

No doubt I will weaken, and fall for the next really tempting offer, but it has been a really interesting experiment for me.

You'll need the measurement from the back of your knee to the floor and the circumference of your calf at it's widest point. Not sure if you may need the circumference of your ankle too, depends upon the brand of flight socks.

Thanks Geordie Lass! Am now going to scour my local Boots for some reduced as £13 seems expensive, even with 300 points.

Do boots offer money back on items you are not happy with if you dont have the receipt? I bought some no 17 foundation and i tried it yesterday and its awful, its so oily and just makes me look like an orange!!! Its the worst foundation i have ever had, what should i do as i cant use it and it cost me £5, so i dont want to just throw it away. any help would be grateful.

Ps whats the cheapest thing you can get with the new £2 till spit?

I'd be dead chuffed to take off your hands any excess s&g, hat boxes, champers or perfume sets! I have 3 pregnant friends so champers would be great for when babies are born and want to donate lots of QUALITY stuff to one of the mum and baby raffles coming up as it is to keep the club open and I only have ted baker mens sets and winnie hot water bottle covers at the moment! If you do get any then use your points and I'll give you the £'s.

I'm desperate to find out...has anyone else tried the pink no7 GWP or Expert GWP without any other purchase that some have got going through? I'd love these for the raffle as I sent all the no7 GWP's to my mum in cyprus as she knows lots of ladies who are a bit hard up. Will not send any more as cost me a FORTUNE!!!

expert tins wont go thru for me today. but they went thru for me up to yesterday. grabbed another 4 yesterday, and my SA was really kinD to put it thru with no questions asked. (probably due to the fact that i look like a poor student) will post a picture of the tin, contents and my receipt tonight..

no17 palette bleeped,,(bought lip liner and glaze) but my SA let me have it. :-)

First the "LOWS". Wanted to do the UG shampoo and Conditioner thingy but London Road and Clock Tower ACM's have been down for the past two days. So off i trot to Worthing Retail Park - ACM not giving out the 1/2 price voucher.

The "HIGHS". Went to Burgess Hill this morning. Got my booty and went to tills, an older SA was serving as was busy advising the lady she was serving that she cant use two vouchers for something in one go, so i was a little nervous as i approached her. She took all my vouchers happily and said what a bargain i have just got then advised me of the various clearance racks around the store and that there are various acm vouchers i could combine with them. Off i trotted and got some more. Said hi me again when i went back with various reduced Expert booty and my 100 points for each of them. Then (here comes the freebie) she got up and pointed out something that is going through for free even though it is on clearance marked at £2.00. Its Piz Burn Gorgeous Natural Colour gradual self tan. Reduced from £4 to £2.:j She said they noticed earlier this morning and staff have put some buy - but i might as well have some. This made my day and i old her so, i thanked her very much and told her to have a nice day and i left grinning like a cheshire cat. Its so nice when nice things happen. :j
