You have some really lovely SA's! None of my local ones would do anything against the t&c's, which is fair enough I guess. I used to work there as a summer job (going back a few years now :p) and the manager was really strict on voucher use- don't know if this is common practice but there was a "board of shame" where anyone found to be letting people use vouchers incorrectly would have their name put up on:rolleyes:.
So can't blame them for being strict, I just wish for a till spit I can use without grief & hassle :p
The best I can hope for is to go to a chap and hope he doesn't notice. Unfortunately the only male SA works on the pharmacy so I'd look and feel a right berk going to "pay" there for my pencil sharpener :rotfl:
You don't have to be brave hun, i actually was honest and said it does say against it but can you try it please? Once they have been alerted to it, they know your not trying to dodge the fact, so they usually give it a go. And they actually like the result, none were funny at all. One SA said just after mine going through she was off to get some herself... ;):D

Burton on Trent now have a Clinique counter! Went today to get a couple of quick eyes to get the bonus time gift -free with any two items. SA seemed to think I wanted three items and explained that because i was buying three items I also got full size liquid facial soap and seven day scrub cream free. I was paying with points anyway so got the three items - and loads of freebies!

Thanks for the tip about the nail polish remover Valk_scot- didn't spot that today so will look harder tomorrow! Is it with the Bourjois nail varnishes or with all of the other kinds of nail varnish removers?

Would love a few freebie pencil sharpeners for hampers but don't know if I can stand the pain of trying to find a SA who will put them through- it was bad enough with the mini JF serums on the last til spit, but this one actually says on the t&c no pencil sharpeners  Don't think I have a hope lol but thanks for the tip Scorpiokitten, will give it a go if I'm feeling brave!

It was on the Bourjois stand in my Boots, next to the tweezers and pencil sharpener. It's pink and in a cylindrical bottle.

I'll second SK's comment on the "feeling brave", btw. If I'm in doubt I smile in a hopeful way and say something like "I've got this voucher (or ten) and I'm not sure whether it applies I get confused with all your lovely vouchers could you try it pleese?" No-one's ever refused to try one yet...this doesn't mean that it will work, of course, but at least you can say "Thanks for trying anyway" plus optionally "I'll just leave the item then, sorry" and honour is satisfied all round.
    Val.

I usually buy some paracetamol or ibruprophen (is that how you spell it:o ) when I pay at the pharmacy. I go there as the queue is usually much smaller, and I feel guilty if I don't buy pharmacy items lol.

What freebies did you get? is this ontop of the GWP. I'm thinking of using points too.

jemclajess, no, I haven't seen the trial pk of stay dry pads in Luton. The manager has probably hidden them away. Just like he hid the wisdom toothbrushes:rolleyes: It's hard to get a good deal/glitch in that store isn't it?

Thanks for replying sally06. I know you and Discount-Diva are probably more experienced at this Bootsing and I thought if they were in our local then you would have found them. I guess the Manager has hidden them and will probably bring them back out when the voucher expires!!!
Don't think I want to spend over £2.00 on a normal size pack that I won't use just to get the points so I guess I will save them for my shopping trip to Milton Keynes or London for my birthday in 2 weeks!!!
    Thanks again.
