Vodafone and Quidco - Have current deal with them

Hi,
I was looking for some advice. Basically my current Vodafone deal runs out next month and I want to sign up for a new one. In doing so I would like to use quidco (they offer £90 for a new contract with Vodafone) however this can only happen if I sign up online.

Is it possible to cancel my existing contract when it runs out and request the PAC code. Sign up for a new deal through Quidco to make me eligible for the £90 and then port my existing number over to the new deal? Or is this too complicated. Should I just see what retention deal they will offer me - its unlikely to match the £90 bonus especially as I only want a 12 month contract.

The major issue is that I don't particularly want to change my number.
