This is such a laugh today! First Lenny and his marvellous erection and now Linda's excellent avatar! I'm so glad there's not many people in the office today!

And you're quite right IA and Maz, I agree - that's why 'I'm proud to be dealing with my debts'! I suppose the reason my avatar is Richard Armitage rather than me is because it gives me something good to look at whilst reading through threads such as this!!!

Organise a cosmetics party and invite female staff from local branches of Lloyds! free samples and food for all that come!
Do a demo of the products on someone whilst talking about the benefits of using them and afterwards let them try and play with the make up while you mingle and get to know them!

Slant it that they will be filling a gap in the market with a market leading, innovative product - they aren't selling anything the same or possibly some excusivity (only pharmacy to be stocking it) give them some PR'd figures (66% of people buy a piece of Chaya cosmetics the first time they are told about them, or some such bull), offer a candle dangling discount - one off, not available to other suppliers, short time only kind of thing?

don't invite them to contact you if interested, tell them you'll be contacting them to make an appointment to come and see someone!

  • I would market it maybe slightly differently- you could do as keren suggested and then offer to take promo a step further and do the same instore for one day only. If they like it then offer dangly discounts for a ltd time. Then general discount. Use all promo literature as also suggested above. look at also putting on seasonal enticements such as bogof summer buys or to get rid of old stock spend so much get this free.

I'm so glad you agree! Last night I found myself watching Ultimate Farce on ITV4 purely because he was in it!! I also have a dilema as he's going to be in the new series of Spooks, which I've never watched in my life! If I start watching it DH will come to the conclusion that I am totally obsessed with RA! As we speak I have 2 signed photos of him by my desk to help get me through the day!:j

Well DH must have realised my obsession with RA and so he wrote to his agent asking for a signed photo for me! And in the end I got 2! I was meant to do the same for DH and get Carol Kirkwood's photo off all people, but I didn't get round to it in the end - DH was most upset! oh well, will have to try for his birthday this year!

I need a way to get to see Ros-once there I know I can do the rest...

We are totally organic, Fair Trade, use NO chemicals (which, btw, I'm learning loads about and it's bloomin SCARY!) recycleable, made in the UK, NEVER tested on animals.

I know the website needs to be updated-I am working on that...
BUT, how do I get to the big bosses???
