Thanks:A:Aimmoral_angeluk wrote: »The way I see it this forum isn't like any others I've visited. It's a community built on respect and support for everyone going through a hard time. afternoon all - just caught up and was loving the world's biggest litter tray Len!
Seeing the 'right said Fred' rendition by Bernard Cribbens - my OH's godfather is Bernard Cribbens!! Bizarre but quite randomly true!
Blimey, working 4 hours a day is quite tiring, trying to take it all in- I was stifling a yawn at 12.30! God knows how I'll get on working 8-3 on a Friday!!
Well, had my yellow stickered veggie sausages on yellow stickered bread for lunch (god, I'm frivolous) so Iguess I should power up AQA for a couple of hours.

Never a truer word has been spoken. I have found that, i can have a chat, a giggle, help a few folk along the way, meet up with very like minded folk, find great recipes, save loads of money, just post my thoughts or just chill- I think that covers it.:Dimmoral_angeluk wrote: »The way I see it this forum isn't like any others I've visited. Jinky :kisses3:
Wayne accused me of being obsessed about MSE and becomming debt free a year ago. He didn't understand my need to take action and get us in a better financial position UNTIL I told him and invited him to 'monitor' my MSE habits. Cue two hours of key-tapping and he's never bothered me again. of course it helped that I rarely complain about being a playstation widow;) and I do only (usually) come on here when he's on the playstation:D.

If it was only the financial side of things he was meaning I wouldn't bother so much....but thats not the only reason I come here to chat:cool::heartpulsOnce a Flylady, always a Flylady:heartpuls0 -

Thank you Sarah.
Maybe we should introduce ourselves as such... "hello, I'm Cat4772 and I'm in debt!!!"
Seriously though, I couldn't have put it better myself and yes, I am here to get support (from those who have and are battling debts) and at the same time offer support to those who are on their debt free journey. We all are.

I feel a bit like that as well cat- a very good intro!
Jinky i started on these forums because mr b was always asleep at night. He is slowly waking up to the fact that he can control his own destiny and money management. if it wasn't for the support i get on here at times i would go mad-well i probably am. Mad bob the builder! the cross dressing lurker of the forums.......
see i can post that and no one thinks anything of it
I hope!Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?

Yeah, well said IA.
I don't hide who i am, so try not to say nasty things about Big G when he is annoying me, as anyone who knew me would know who i am from my sig, picture or username! never mind all 3 together!!!! I'm fairly up front about my debts these days, so it shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone who might recognise me.
Hope you're okay jinks, and yes they don't understand "stuff"....
Incidentally this is the first forum i've ever really found a place in, and even then i'm not a big player, just a wee person who likes to chip in!I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....(it's part of my charm!)0 -
Just wanted to ask, off topic I know, but has anyone seen Gingham Ribbon's thread 'Confessions of a very tired Old Styler' ? It's nearly as funny as this thread.Nothing is so fatiguing as the eternal hanging on of an uncompleted task. William James0
