    It's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
    We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
    Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.

    Afternoon all! Seems i missed all the action again!!!!!!!

    Jinky, everything okay? My OH doesn't like it when i'm on here, i think he thinks it must be full of sad random sex starved blokes, little does he know that it's mostly women (and who am i to say about the rest, if the cap fits.......!!)

    I'm not sure how he's going to feel about my going to the Glasgow meet.... my compromise(up my sleeve to use if required!) is going but not drinking and driving home at night...
    I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....
    (it's part of my charm!)

    One the one hand he does understand...but then he will say something stupid like he did last night.
    He thinks I am a hypocrite because I used to think people who posted in forums were *sad* runs away :D
    But now I understand why people do it:A

    It is something I need to do at the minute.
    The way I see it this forum isn't like any others I've visited. It's a community built on respect and support for everyone going through a hard time. Very similar to, say, someone going to AA meetings. It's there for people who want and choose to find the help they need, but also to socialise with people in a similar situation.

    Wayne accused me of being obsessed about MSE and becomming debt free a year ago. He didn't understand my need to take action and get us in a better financial position UNTIL I told him and invited him to 'monitor' my MSE habits. Cue two hours of key-tapping and he's never bothered me again. of course it helped that I rarely complain about being a playstation widow;) and I do only (usually) come on here when he's on the playstation:D.
