Going to do one last half hour 4.30-5.00 to dust, sweep and mop lounge then hopefully that will be me done for the day
Hi DDiva, could you please give me the Link or forum where the flylady thread is. Sounds like just what I need. I put a cd on and try to finish some chores before it finishes. Would love to see this thread.
Many thanks Beth0 -

Evening All
My candle for Eric is lit and will continue to be.
At the last count Katy still had 35 manky bananas spread all over the work surface, so I've pinched a few to make banana bread.
Twink, the way to a mans heart is straight through his chest!
To all the hussies, I'll win hands down, I've sent Martyn a very graphic DVD of one of my hobbies. Before I get banned from the thread, he wanted to learn how to knit!!
I'm off to bed know as I'm still recovering from babysitting a colicky baby til the early hours.
Hugs Hester

Hester "35 bananas", what on earth is she planning.
Martyn, get your backside back here now.
Hello everyone,
My os has gone a bit pear shaped this week as I found out at the weekend that in about two or three months time, a good friend of mine, after 40 happy years of marriage faces losing her husband to cancer. I am gutted as you can imagine. My family are mostly hopeless, and these people and their incredibly generous family are the people who have always been there for me since I was in my early twenties.
I have had a few days off from my diet, but it starts again in earnest, and when I hope that when I finally fit into my posh dress for my SIL's wedding in August it will be a tribute to the help and support of you lovely lot, and it will also be my own tribute to the lovely Mike, who is being cherished by his family as we speak.
Nobody offended anyone last night, and life is too short to make enemies - you need all the friends that you can get.
May I also propose a toast in light of tomorrows events. Here's to Eric, a brave man and a fighter. You'll be missed, but you will live on in the hearts of those that you loved and those that loved you. God bless
Take care all of you x0 -

I have stayed out of any posting today and missed last nights thread.
But i have to say that the daily thread on here has become a big part of my life and helped me through times of feeling down. I dont know whats happened in the past being fairly new here myself
(((Group hug))):Dfurrypig says:my name is Choccy and I am addicted to nose free stamps as I want to save them all and give them noses!!!:rotfl:
About me. Im Choccy or Chocolate orange depending on where i am.Yes occasionally i am a total looon who spends too long online, but no where near as much £ as her spendy elves do ..:D0 -
There is a paragraph or two outlining what the daily thread is EVERY day on here. In it there is this phrase:
... we’re a laid back bunch here ...
So, can we start again, please? There are several among us who are in pain and we are all very good at supporting each other through the dark times.
So let's just move on now and get back to what we do best. Light, OS chat and a bit of support for one another.
Thanks everyone.May all your dots fall silently to the ground.0
