Help..........Brake lights staying on.

I had this happen on a Citroen Xsar Picasso, all i did was nip down to my local motor factors and bought a new brake light switch for £1.50 inc VAT! Much easier and cheaper to do yourself. Im sure if you google your car make and the problem someone else will be able to tell you where exactly your brake light switch is!0

I had to do the same job on my Citroen Berlingo, though my lights stuck in the off position. It really was a very cheap and easy job!2009 wins: Signed Saxon CD, Solar Torch, Drumsticks, Priest Feast Tix, Watch, Hammerfest tix :beer:0

also a common fault on mk 3 fiesta's..
very easy to fix, you may just get away with just adjusting it, there will be a nut on one end that screws onto the switch, just undo or do up to adjust, that will move the switch closer or further towards the peddle..:money:0 -

one of the few cases of 'it works, so why change it' left in automotive design.
now if we could go back to a nice and simple bit of wire between the throttle pedal and the engine.... :rolleyes:2009 wins: Signed Saxon CD, Solar Torch, Drumsticks, Priest Feast Tix, Watch, Hammerfest tix :beer:0
