Audi A3 1.6 Special Edition 3 door Hatchback - NOTE NEW SPEC

I did a good discounted deal quite by lucky chance and you could construct a simialar situation and see how you get on.
I emailed a dealer who had a second hand model of the car I was interested in. This dealership wasn't my local one but it was within a sensible distance for travelling to. He emailled me back and the used car wasn't what I wanted so I simply emailed him back saying 'thanks, no good, I've decided to buy new.'
That started a great email relationship, where he sorted a deal as best as I reckon I could have ever got (simply because he knew I was internet price savvy and because he knew he had to win me over due to my distance).
May be worth an attempted reconstruction. I got slightly better than the What Car? target price plus a tank of fuel and still retained the 0% finance being offered.0 -
Believe we have narrowed the search somewhat.
We have today visited both a BMW dealer (for a 1 Series Special Edition) and an Audi dealer. Surprising how your thoughts can change when you actually view something for real! Thanks to Kitchpoo for the alternative thoughts on the BMW 1 Series - we were quite impressed by some of the technology and emmision saving ideas.
Our thoughts are now on the Audi 3, 1.6 Special Edition and the A3 1.6 Sport, purely for the amount of extras - some of which we wanted - being as standard for some extra dosh. Plus the BMW 1 Series 1.6i ES.
We still have to test drive the vehicles, but we now have a clearer idea of what it is we are wishing to purchase. Once we have been though that senario then we can start haggling.0
