Well I have listed 4 items. Not very good is it?! :o Going to do some more bits in a minute while doing the housework.

I have been doing a bit of job hunting and the general theme is I am underpaid in what I am doing at the moment. There are v similar jobs out there paying 40k!!!!!  I'm on 30k which I think is really good for my age!! So I have applied for a few to see what chances are. Would madly help my DFD and make me feel this way about money....... :j :T :D . AKA Rather Happy!

Just spend ages on phone to gala bingo so I can do free bingo this evening. :DUsername and password were totally unknown to me! I also have a hot tip for dog racing tonight which I will use William Hill on Quidco for £10. If I deposit £10, they match with another £10 so when quidco pays out, it was technically free! :D

Gorgeous day here today, chance to get my fake tanned legs out! Was thinking of buying glamour to get the free lipgloss but worried end up with a horrible one!

  • Hi Sophie good luck on the free bingo and well done with the offers.

All 3 colours are nice with the Glamour Mag they are all very neutral even the one that looks quite dark pink in the bottle is very pale on.

Thank you! I was hoping there was a way to tell from the magazine or packet but couldn't see anything. Also I was scrutinizing the magazine so much, I think the newsagent thought I was going to steal it!

Free bingo isn't very good so far.........

Good day today, gorgeous weather so got to wear a dress. :D Got a call from recruitment agency about a job I applied for, its the same money though and not as flexible as the one I have now so I'm a bit.....

Bought two magazines and lunch which was 3.50. Not good. Considering there was lunch stuff in fridge! Very typical of me. Need to be more organised. Popped into sainsburys on way home and spent 9.79 on chicken, veg, potatoes, biscuits, crisps and a gorgeous looking chicken chasseur is in the oven and we will have with baked potatoes. Combined with aldi shop we should be ok until the weekend and will just need top up stuff. WW is ridiculous though, can't stop eating! Stuffing face with popcorn as I type.

Right back to the job search.........

Quidco has tracked William Hill at £20.00 and not £10.00!!!!! Free bet of £10.00 is valid for one week and OH is rubbish at this kind of thing so boys at work will be consulted tomorrow to see what is the best Euro 2008 match to bet on. :D As I'm Scottish, I have no idea about international football......:rotfl: Tunnocks teacakes, now thats another matter.....

So tired, nearly fell asleep on train while on way home. V quiet at work today. Nothing exciting to report unfortunately.

Got sent a spec for a job a agency is pushing me into. Said no as just not for me. It was 32k with 10% bonus but I'm on 30k with 16% bonus so not really for me. Also I have certain areas I want to stick to and my travel would really increase if I needed underground on my travelcard. It has to really jump out at me for me to consider leaving because I do actually really love working there but there is no career progression. :o I know my salary isn't going to go up much more now. I started on 21.5k three years ago so it has jumped really well I think in that time period. Get lots of nice benefits too. ;)

Spent 3.50 again on pasta, water and newspaper. :o Need to start taking in a book again to read at lunchtime and take lunch in! Read bit of Money Diet though and got a few ideas such as cheap diet cola makes your loo sparkle apparently!

Sophie, the coke is pretty good with the loo cleaning.

Vingear is a very good conditioner in the washing machine.

Water down all shop bought cleaning fluids by half, you get two for the price of one then.

Shop online and use the Discount board for the delivery vouchers.

If your OH is a brand snob as mine is, keep a jar of kenco and fill it up with Tesco coffee, I do this with hair conditioners, shampoos, most things really, cause if it said Tesco value on the packaging then it must be carp according my OH who unknown to him has been using Tesco shower gel for months:rotfl:

That is such a good idea! He is ridiculous. I suggest he have some gold blend as we had run out of his v expensive coffee for his fancy coffee machine and he put the phone down on me!!! Although, he loves aldi and netto. Odd......

Will def try the vinegar, always see it on How Clean is Your House with Kim and Aggie. I bought Lynx shower gel for him and he was like ohhh this is not very moneysaving is it? I was like yes when its only a pound it is. Shut him up for five seconds!
