You mention transferring money for the mortgage to his account and adding up what he owes you to get the money back off him.
Would it not make more sense to pay a % of what each of you earn into a totally separate account and use that for any joint bills/spending? It doesn't necessarily have to be in joint names if you don't want to be financially linked.0 -
We are planning to. But..........he's in a total mess financially because of credit crunch so I'm pretty much paying for everything at moment. So I add it all up on a spreadsheet then either I don't pay any mortgage for a few monhs or he pays via a lump sum.

Didn't go out last night as don't feel so great. Going to have a bath in a bit and fake tan myself which will hopefully lift my spirits too. Feel v flat and a bit yuck!
Anyway on a better note, I bought cosmo today as reduced to 2 and mentions a website called money magpie which has a massive section on making extra money so between here and there, I'm going to come up with an action plan tonight of all the extra things I can be doing. Fed up of the debt just hanging about, want rid!!It Will be Mine.............ITV Cash Win, Ipod Touch & Spa BreakI have the comping bug!

I have signed up to some more mystery shopping websites but I am going to get my money spreadsheet sorted this afternoon and get lists drawn up of all mystery shopping, focus groups, surveys etc I am doing. I can then come up with action plan of what is realistic to make from each.
House is relatively tidy, still need to clean carpets which I keep putting off!
Need to think about summer too as we have OH's ds and need to juggle time off and activities. May sound a little mad but I have drawn up a list of all activities on in London that he might like then will print off and each weekend we can choose what we want to do.
Last year I was just stressed trying to keep him entertained! I want to be organised this time. :A It Will be Mine.............ITV Cash Win, Ipod Touch & Spa BreakI have the comping bug!

Applied for lots of focus groups today. Some housework done but ironing is still there. Grrr.
Not fantastically productive, watched couple of DVD's with OH. Went to post office and bank. Supposed to do some ebay but that didn't work out too well did it?!

Forgot about my free bet, have to use today. Have no idea what to use on!!! OH will have to be consulted.
So today, I am ebaying and sorting out the carpets for cleaning. Need to go to woolworths to buy some brushes for the carpets and a new pepper mill. Accidentally melted mine as too close to the gas flame!
Lovely day so going to get my ipod and trainers and go for a walk this afternoon as really need some exercise. Can't stop eating!

I posted this in Hypno's Positive Thinking for June:
* Take lunch in 4 times a week (Friday can be a M&S day!)
* Go to the gym 3 times a week
* Lose 10lbs
* Get ebaying more (I am so slack)
* Throw myself into mystery shopping, focus groups, comping etc
* Stay on top of housework and stop letting it build up!
* Start my proper online spending diary
Hopefully I can do it! :j
Right!! I am ebaying as I type (well you know what I mean!), signed up to silly amount of mystery shops and focus groups. Have lunch stuff in and will do yummy sandwiches for tomorrow. :T
I had proper lunch today which I never do at weekends so I need to get in a proper routine with eating. Lately I have been grazing too much and when stressed at work, just been having a chocolate bar instead of proper sandwich.
Terrible headache though, will have a bath in a bit with some candles I think. Dinner in oven and have half tackled ironing. Feel quite chilled even though a Sunday night!
OH has some interviews this week so will have to sort out some shirts and suits. He's been self-employed for the past 18 months as architect but there is no work due to credit crunch so he's trying to get into commercial architecture in the city/canary wharf. Fingers crossed!
