How do I get this to work using the WiFi on my phone, which is free? I tried to change the access point but it only seems to work via the custom one that Mobyko set up.The thanks button is here to the right. If you find a post saves you money, gives you useful information, or you agree with it, take a second to thank the poster!

I've used Mobyko before but got a hugh shock when my bill turned out to be a lot more than expected at the end of the month as a result of the data costs for using Mobyko.
I'd suggest you read the Terms and Conditions for Mobyko very carefully before deciding to sign up to the service.
I've heard that ZYB, www.zyb.com is a cheaper alternative to Mobyko so I'm tempted to try it, however I find it easier to just connect my mobile to my PC and save my numbers that way - it's easier, faster and completely free.0 -
Hi again all,
Just to confirm that there could be a charge associated with sending or receiving data just as there is a charge for looking at pages over WAP. It depends completely on your tariff with your network.
Of course there are other backup services available but it is a level playing field. The same data is sent whichever service you decide to use. There is no "cheaper" alternative.
thanks

I'm not sure about using Mobyko - my friend said once she signed up her friends in her phonebook started to receive annoying advertising spam text messages from them..0

I am also an existing member of Mobyko and cannot see how to upgrade under 'my account' tab0
