My first ever win - £100 on a £580 holding! Very happy with that, I didn't expect to win anything with such a small holding.

I've been just adding spare change (£30 or so) each month for the thrill as an alternative to throwing my money away with the lottery

Well done! I thought I'd done well with £100 on a £1,000 holding.
With that holding you'd expect to win a prize (of any amount) about once every 3 years.
And when you do win it is roughly equal odds it will be a £25, £50 or £100 win. Well not quite equal (see below).
So you've hit lucky twice there, mainly in winning at all, but also in winning £100 not £25 or £50.

£17,250 in 12 months is an amazing return. You have some very lucky numbers. Do you have one large block of 50k or multiple large blocks.?
