  • Well I was pleasantly surprised this morning - 5 Prizes of 3 x 100, 1 x 50 and 1 x 25

    £375 on full holding.

    Past draws:

    August                £225

    July                      £50

    June                    £225

    May                     £125

    April                    £250

    March                 £300

  • Up until 3 months ago i had the full holding 50k but took it all out apart from £100 (well you never know) to put into fixed rate bonds. Unsurprisingly i havnt won anything since then but happy to earn 5.5% and 6% guaranteed.

£225 on max. Feels good compared to the starvation rations I have experienced of late, though in reality very near the theoretical average (other maxed family members - 200 and 175).

Nothing for me. Now that I only have £100 left in PB it's hardly surprising  :D

£450 on the maximum for me and £100 on the maximum for my wife 🎉

She grumbled slightly, but can't complain as she won £10K in May!

After winning nothing last month I won 1 prize of £100 this month.

My average holding this year has been £26,250. In these 9 prize draws I have won £750. So that's a return of 3.81%. More or less in line with the advertised return, so my prizes haven't been as erratic as some people on this thread.

While it's always nice to win more, in order to make better returns in tax paying accounts I would have to earn more than 6.35% in interest. So looks like Premium Bonds have served me well so far this year.
