The last day as that is the shortest time your money will be sitting doing nothing. Not sure if you could manage to set up an account by the end of today though.deejaybee said:Is there a "best" time of the month to invest in PBs ? I dont have any currently, thanks.

Thank you, will leave it to end of Feb if i decide to go for it, i do already have a NS&I "customer" no as i have held some of their products in the past, but not PBs for a long long time.

Although the majority of wins are announced tomorrow I see that all the bigger wins are showing today i.e. £5K plus.I can now see by deduction that I am not one of those people. Conversely if any of the winners matched my holding & geographic location it would suggest that I may well have won a bigger prize. So am curious to know, along with the lucky millionaires, are all the £5K winners also contacted in advance?

I would assume that you would be informed prior to the bigger prizes being announced, I'm not sure if they announce when the actual draw is done but it could have been done in the last week rather than last 24 hours.ljayljay said:Although the majority of wins are announced tomorrow I see that all the bigger wins are showing today i.e. £5K plus.I can now see by deduction that I am not one of those people. I also believe that there is a slightly different process for the larger prizes and there is more due diligence done to ensure the prize is paid to the correct account.
Sadly appears that I also wasn't one of the big winners this monthMake £2023 in 2023 (#36) £3479.30/£2023

Thanks for that tip. I am not one of the winners either in the list based on my bond nos.ljayljay said:Although the majority of wins are announced tomorrow I see that all the bigger wins are showing today i.e. £5K plus.I can now see by deduction that I am not one of those people. Also notice that the winning bond numbers are also published. My wife thinks I'm a spoil sport & should wait until all the results are available & to stop peeking in advance.PS she hasn't won big either, but I'm keeping stumm....don't think she looks at this site....fingers crossed.
