Premium Bond Winner ?

I do like having a look through the big winners (nosy I know!) - someone has won £5k from a £50 bond bought in December 1965! Another £5k has gone to someone with just £10 in total, bought in 1978. 
It gives me hope somehow (£25 off ~£12k for me this month).

We won 10 X £25 on our £100K.  Hubby is annoyed that I had 6 and he 'only' had 4.  Tough!

My wife and I invested £50k each a couple of months ago, in the August draw I won £75 and she won £25, in Sept we both won £50.

In these difficult Financial Times I would rather they temporarily abolished the million pound prizes and spread the winnings over more people in smaller multiples. Spreading a little more happiness around might reach people who could really do with a small financial boost.
