How many people that have alread got the maximum holding are going to up it to £40k now. I heard them say on the radio at the weekend it will increase to £50k next year, but not sure of the date.
Liverpool is one of the wonders of Britain,
What it may grow to in time, I know not what.

I just upped my holding from 30k to 40k. Whilst logged in I calculated that over the last tax year I won £375 on the full 30k holding - which is 1.5%. I'm happy with that alongside the thrill of winning something every month, something to look forward to, and the potential for that biggie....I'm guessing it will be much lower percentage now there are 2 big prizes, but until savings rates get any better I'm happy to keep it in PB with that hope that one day maybe.......who knows...it might be me winning a biggie...

I reckon I'll cash out - it was sitting there for a house deposit (house seems as far away as ever). 30k over the year won me £150 - so a return of about 0.5%.

England at 30:1 to win the World Cup - now there's an idea.

Nothing for me this month (£7.5k holding) but £50 for hubby (£9k holding). One of us wins £25 most months :)

We are just about to empty our ISAs to put a deposit on a property - but are keeping our Bonds intact - you never know when it will be your turn to win the million!

Imagine someone holding forth on biology whose only knowledge of the subject is the Book of British Birds, and you have a rough idea of what it feels like to read Richard Dawkins on theology: Terry Eagleton

The official android premium bond app is a bit poor. Still can't check for June even though high and medium prizes were on the web yesterday. Also the lack of push notification is poor.

The apple app is just as useless. Not that the website is much better. Basically you have to wait until the entire draw is completed for a month.

If you aren't listed on the High Value Winners list, the most you will have made is a few £25. Nothing life changing, so not knowing about it should make little difference. Though if it does - - perhaps PBs are then not the right place to keep your money in.
  • 1 x £25 for me in the June draw. Better than a poke in the eye with a sharp stick ;)
