Finally won a prize! It's only £25 but I've been buying premium bonds monthly since April 2025 and this is my first prize 😂

Decided to move away to ISA so on my last month with PB, on £25k I've won the largest number of prizes:
£25, £25, £25, £25, £50
Still leaving, as 4.5% ISA guarantees me £187.5 every month on FH and last year I averaged 2.5%

I hold £50,000 worth of Premium Bonds.
Jan: £150
Feb: £150
Mar: £0
Apr: £50
I've been tracking the returns. Since the beginning of 2018 I've received £8,600 in winnings or 17.2%. According to ChatGPT inflation was 18.3% over the same period. That's a real return of minus 1.1%. Purchasing power is slowly being eroded. I'm a higher tax payer. On the plus side the returns are tax free. However there are better options.
I'm looking for somewhere else to park some of my Premium Bonds. e.g. short-term below par gilts.

I got £350 from 5 numbers last month from 40K Holding
Never happened before, usually 1, 2 or occasionally 3 wins, or sometime zero per month

Congrats to you all! 😀
I have won the highest ever (£225) during my years of ownership (on a £35K holding) but goodness knows where this prize has got to !
May I ask if your prizes are outstanding, or have you received them yet?
