13 draws ago (Feb 2025) I reduced my Premium Bond holding to £10k. In the 12 draws following that I won £200 in total, so a 2% return, which isn't amazing.

My luck finally turned in this draw. I've won two prizes, one worth £50 and the other £500! So yeah, when it comes to relatively small holdings it really is a waiting game. £550 isn't particularly life changing but it at least makes Premium Bonds worth having.

The biggest prize draw I've had before today was £300, that was when I had about £25k in Premium Bonds.

£150 on £22k holding. Feeling pretty pleased with that to be honest. I'm easily pleased 😄

    Jan £50

    Feb 3 x £25 = £75

    Full holding. Underwhelming.

I've had two prizes totalling £75, on £22k, after blanks since October 25 - makes my running year 2.272% - so still not startling. I cashed most of them in 'after the next draw' so it was a bit of a bonus - replaced the interest I would have got, had I cashed them in after the last draw, like I'd intended.

My £25 prize was from a small batch of £2k I bought about 2 years ago from a sentimental inheritance - which I've left in for now. That particular batch has done quite well to date, returning 4.3% in itself - although I don't expect to get much for a while, as I also got £100 from it in October, my last previous win.

£25 on holding of £7400, I am okay with this.

Corduroy pillows are making headlines! Back home in London now after 27years wait! Duvet know it's Christmas, not original, it's a cover.
