True they could have had a monster win or opted to have their winnings paid elsewhere.Section62 said:
Thre's nothing to say they haven't won with this bond in the past.... maybe their contact details will turn out to be wrong because they invested their previous £1m win on buying an island somewhere.Sg28 said:
56 years ago, I wonder if they are still alive?molerat said:Big holding. I wonder if they know it exists.
If so I doubt they bothered to keep their contact details up to date for the £1 they won nothing on for the last 56 years.Ex Sg27 (long forgotten log in details)Massive thank you to those on the long since defunct Matched Betting board.2 -
As an ex postie I was always surprised just how many people failed to update their address when they moved. Delivered quite a few winning cheques to peoples homes where I knew they had moved and the current occupants didn’t have any forwarding addres! One person had regular wins for the 4 years I was on the round always being sent back as not known at this addres!Section62 said:

Not sure yet but I think I may have won £1000. I have been out all day on the razzle down in Brighton, I did my early morning monthly checks on Premium Bond checker, downloaded the results , sorted them by holding amount, and it looked like my Bond numbers, and the location was London, but was in too much of a rush because we had to meet our daughter in a pub or 2 down Brighton.
Home now, had quite a few beers, will check in the morning, my eyes ain't focussing too well now.
If I have won £1000, that will be my best ever win, I am down to £8400 holding now.
I will be back in the morning at some point, fully sober and refreshed and be able to have a good proper check of the number
Until then , bye for now.
Corduroy pillows are making headlines! Back home in London now after 27years wait! Duvet know it's Christmas, not original, it's a cover.0 -
I suspect disappointment awaits you as the £1,000 wins aren't announced in the high value wins...arthurdick said:Not sure yet but I think I may have won £1000. Aren't £1000s in there if you download the file, rather than viewing the list on the NS&I site?wowow said:

Yes they are if you view the downloadable list (link above the high value winners list) - quite why they do this is not clear, since most of the list is the higher value winners again but with the £1000s tagged on at the end.wowow said:
