  • Having used TESCO and ASDA the former is much better than the latter without even trying.
Five out of nine delivery's from ASDA have been late for witch we have received one e voucher covering a future delivery charge.
In fact just this minute the driver has called me to tell me that he cant find my address on his sat nav and can i come and meet him. I draw the line at the fifth time of hearing such a request.

My only criticism of TESCO is the extortionate cost of delivery and the prices are higher in general.

We are now re-considering using the Tesco home delivery service again.

The above comments refer to ASDA Home delivery service, Eastlands in Manchester.

gotta agree with ganiyu..Mcr eastlands are USELESS. Every other order- ie. more than 50% are late- sometimes by 2 hours, so i have waited almost 4 hours for a delivery! They ususally deliver things that are broken- smashed jar of peanut butter anyone? lettuce that looks like it has been sat on? They turn up and tell you they have given your delivery note to another customer. They deliver half of your shopping and you have to chase them down the street to get the other half..they really are terrible. It's not like it's a new service, and NO-ONE gives a damn!

You really do get what you (don't) pay for ..
