I have a question... have now had 2 deliveries from ordering online so im relatively new to all this!
On my 1st order all of the items i ordered that were weighable - ie pork chops, onions, bananas etc... i was only charged the price of the weight i ordered (and most weighed more) a couple of them showed on the substitutes - i guess because they cost more than i had stated i wanted to pay?
On my 2nd order all the weighables were over what i wanted to pay - for example i wouldnt normally pay almost £3 for 3 chops, the weight i had selected should have cost me about £1.82 yet i was charged the actual price.
What i wanted to know is which is the "normal procedure" on weighable items??
(If its of any use i would think my order was picked and packed at the Fareham store)
Thanks in advance! x0 -
Hi Ellie
If they have substituted they should price match regardless of what they are substituting.
If they send u more expensive meat they should still price match against the item u ordered, but the final price you pay will also be based upon the weight they deliver
ie if you order 0.3kg of joint a at £2 per kilo
and they supply you 0.4kg of substitute joint b at £3 per kilo
they should charge you 0.4kg at the £2 per kilo rate
Hope thats clear!
Email them and tell them where they have gone wrong
I've never had any problems getting refunds - they should put it back on your card within a few days
Good luck
