Asda Codes Thread

Thanks for that- I rang ASDA again and the guy i spoke to this time said it didn't happen and the man I spoke to earlier hadn't noted on the file what he had told me!
My complaint has been escalated to management and will be dealt with in 3 hours- meaning tomoroow or three weeks next thursday!!

Not happy with that i rang the bank again- who confirmed again that it is a holding payment but he couldn't access the visa screen on his or his colleagues screen to confirm where the payment was due as the systems are playing up- typical!

Deleted the hold on it and advised me that as long as the payment IS for Asda it will now not go through-and the money is back in my account- but if however it isnt Asda ( which by this stage is unlikely) it will still go through

Phew- got a cheque going any day now and could see the charges coming in if that sent me overdrawn!

just to let you know i work for a bank and on our systems although it will not allow you to access the funds whilst a payment is pending and the cheque was to debit your account provided the bank paid the cheque until the payment to asda actually shows on your statement you would not incur charges for being overdrawn because asda have not officially taken the money it is just marked on the account to check the funds are available a bit of a hassle i know but hey thats banking for ya

I reckon for the actual codes this thread must be just about dead now. I have not seen any codes for a while.

I really can't be bothered to trawl through this lot every time I shop at Asda online just to read who has had what substituted or delivered early/late etc.

Lets get back on topic and hopefully get some NEW codes on here. If everyone checks their sources maybe something NEW will turn up.

I have not seen a new ASDA code for a long time. For the first time in over a year I have just placed an online order back with Tesco's (free delivery and 500 points). Without online codes I fear ASDA will lose a lot of online business.

I have used all the money off codes too and I'm going to do the same. Asda is quite good and I like that you can get things other than grocery in with your shopping but I'm going to do a few shops at Tescos again till they have some more money off codes. I've been giving up tesco points because I have had the Asda codes as it was worth it then. I'm just hoping I will be able to find some money off codes for Tesco now. Tesco did send me a £15 come back code but its ran out of date I might see if I can get round that somehow by ringing them

I agree they will lose a lot of business and we were doing so well using the codes we have. Unfortunately Tescos don't do free delivery when you use a Tescos Credit Card which is a shame. So where is the best place to find Tescos codes? If I find some where is the best place for me to post them?

Unfortunately I have already used these codes. We get to use them twice as we shop online under two e-mail addresses so that helps!!! Yes Asda do free delivery using and Asda Credit Card. Not sure about minimum spend. I have shopped this week using the Asda credit card and also put in an e-voucher for free delivery so hopefully I will get the £3.99 off too. Also split our £70 shop into two of £35 to save delivery twice. Hoping to have free delivery using the card and also £3.99 off both shops. We were saving on average £10-£15 a week with the other codes and when they were late the took the delivery off as well.
