Do you think its a good idea to bank codes in your Asda account or keep them in a folder to use when needed? That presuming you can bank codes in there?Thanx

Also, my first order is due this afternoon. I have ordered some curtains and a duvet set as part of it. If I don't like them when they come can I give them back to the driver for refund and if so do they give you some kind of receipt?
Although Its not due till later my account has already been deducted by the 'exact' amount it said in my online original order... usually its not exact with weights of veg and fruit etc so that seemed a little strange... is that ok?Thanx

If you put a code in it give you the option of 'ticking' it when you go to checkout and tells you if you dont meet the mni spend or whatever. I think its a good idea as, if you see a code you can just save it for a later date and if it goes out of date it wont let you use it anyway. The curve that can set a lot of things straight is a smile0 -
I had an Asda order delivered earlier in the week - they couldn't deliver half a dozen of the items (one of them being a loaf of bread!), they substituted another half dozen, and then got another half dozen items that were supposedly delivered wrong as well - missing items, wrong items, etc.
And to top it all off, a bottle of beer must have smashed in the delivery van, because I discovered, after the chap had left, that a lot of the bottoms of the bags were soaking wet, some with glass shards on.
Rang up and complained and they apparently adjusted my total charge (although it isn't showing on their website), deducted an extra £7 and said they would pay for the carpet to be cleaned.
Wasn't impressed, and their call centre is awful - very difficult to hear what they're saying.0 -
Is that the call center in South Africa? I had to call with a query and its absolutely atrocious customer service. One query was about the duvet cover I ordered and I was told it wasn't thier department they didn't do duvets on groceries they didnt even know! I was passed around and told they would ring me back they didn't and when I called back again the person hadnt even logged my call and I was a new customer not yet ordered
I wondered how people got on with refunds, is it the same number to call because there is echoing, broken lines, they don't understand at all what you are talking about and its an 0845 number do they refund your card?Thanx

I'm getting a bit worried now in case they have substituted the curtains and duvet cover. I also ordered 4 bottles of stardrops among other things and I wouldnt want those substituting. Thats a problem wuith the asda site you cant put a substitute preference on each tem like tescos. In fact the tescos site is much better than asdas in many ways.
What do they do if you are substituted with items you are not happy with? Should I look through the list and give them back to the driver or keep them and ring afterwards?
I can see on my account my order which is due today between 2 and 4 pm it now says pending and nothing has changed in it since I ordered. Would this be different now if there had been substitutions its weird how the exact amount has been deducted from my account already
What number would I ring if there are problems with my order?Thanx

Bit of advice... when you next get your shopping delivered ... ask the delivery driver for your local branches number. I got sick of ringing the helpline because i didnt seem to be getting anywhere.
So i did this, and i got striaght through to the manager at my local branch.... the next day she refunded me £12 on to my card when it should have only been £8 but she had refunded me the cost of delivery too !0 -
Order has come but missing the curtains and 1 bottle of stardrops but they have not been charged on the receipt anyway although the £10.00 voucher I had isnt accounted for on the receipt either is this normal? Just a bit worried they wont give me the £10 off as it will have dropped below £35
As for the bank my available balance is exactly lesss of the amount my order would have been if the curtains were in stock will this adjust itself when it shows in the list in a couple of days reflecting the missing items and voucher?Thanx
