  • For me travelling by car it saved me £7 over the irishferries.com price, but a saving is a saving. (Should be 2 more pints!!!)

Thanks to Ann for swapping vouchers with me, will email you as soon as I get it.

Opt out maketing is VERY dodgy and probably contravines data protection law in the UK, if not by directy breaking it but by sailing VERY close to the wind indeed.

Lets understand what they can with your data here...
    • flog all your private data to third parties (carefully selected means = anyone who will pay) who will in turn shovel you with...
    • Junk mail - lots and lots of it enough to wipe many forests by sending you drivel in the post
    • Phone you - yep normally done by indian call centres these days, sometimes at very strange times indeed, their auto dialers call you until they detect there is an answered call on the line at which point they patch it to an operator, who wants to sell you crap you dont want, ever get a ghost call? same caller id or intenational pops up ... call goes unanswered? thats an example of them not grabbing your call quickly enough once you have answered it...
    • still tempted ? once your data has been released there is nothing stopping the third party who bought the data flogging it to their third parties and so on and so on .... yeah but they are under a strict contract not to do so .... err once thay have your data they dont give a damn my dear, and lets face it - who exactly is gonna know and who is gonna prove it and under what legislation exactly .... your data protection rights - ha dont make me laugh
    no thanks ipoints

I've just signed up on behalf of a friend, got her a Ferry Ticket after completing about 2/3 surveys. You need 40 points, which is very quickley reached.

My totals usually update immediately, not sure what you can do, maybe someone else on here can help??

When you join ipoints you get 40 points which is enough for a ferry ticket. I received my voucher from ipoints within a week and used it to book my ticket. My family (husband, me and 3 kids) went to Dublin for 3 days during the easter holidays and had a great time.

We went as foot passengers from Holyhead.

You don't need a passport for Ireland but it is best that you take some form of identification , as we were asked it on out return to the UK.

You can also use the same voucher to book a crossing to France in ADDITION to the Irish crossing.

    A really good deal.
  • Is this offer still on

Earn 40 ipoints when you join today.

    and

With our current special offer you only need to redeem 40 ipoints to get a free return ferry voucher for up to 5 foot passengers to France and Ireland
  • I wonder if youd get much off if you used this in combination with a scooter?

    ie. me plus scooter ?

Especially as i cant seem to get a cheaper return than 75 quid :-(
