Fixed Rate / Variable Rate Mini-Cash ISA poll

So in the current financial climate I thought a quick poll on which types of ISAs people were most comfortable with could be quite interesting:
Which of the following would you rather go for?
Variable Rate Mini Cash ISA
1 Year Fixed Rate Mini Cash ISA
2 Year Fixed Rate Mini Cash ISA
3 Year Fixed Rate Mini Cash ISA
4 Year Fixed Rate Mini Cash ISA
5 Year Fixed Rate Mini Cash ISA
I, personally think that the way things are at the moment, Fixed Rate ISAs win hands down.
However what do people think - will variable rates drop below the fixed rates soon enough that you're better of with the fixed rate?
I reckon they probaby will drop and the chance of that increases as the financial troubles get worse.
My current thinking is interest rates will be lower this time next year so I'll probably be looking at a 2 year Fixed Rate ISA somewhere over 6%.

If a forum admin could add a poll to this thread that'd be great
