    i can only think of 2 companies giving away free laptops, redten (ouch!) and aol (se how many complaints there are about them on this board alone).
    the 'free' gift ast to be paid for by someone, and that would be you, the only way the isp could possibly recoup the cost would be high prices (in which case you may as well buy a better laptop yourself) or poor service, which would you prefer?
