Free laptops?

i can only think of 2 companies giving away free laptops, redten (ouch!) and aol (se how many complaints there are about them on this board alone).
the 'free' gift ast to be paid for by someone, and that would be you, the only way the isp could possibly recoup the cost would be high prices (in which case you may as well buy a better laptop yourself) or poor service, which would you prefer?Utinam logica falsa tuam philosophiam totam suffodiant.0 -

This is what I had derived as well after approx 24 hours searching...

If you only want limited amount of broadband then better pating about £10 per month say 40Gb at talk talk, and using a credit card with no interest for a year or a small bank loan to buy laptop as some very good deals about.
Do not repeat do not go anywhere near the redten deal--0 -

Beware the character seeking personal gain masquerading as a moral crusader.
