would appreciate any opinions re: the following:
i am 60 and intend to retire at 65. have got my cash ISA for 07/08. also have another £4,000 available.
should i use this to get a stocks/shares ISA in before the end of this financial year ( never had stocks/shares one before) or should i just play the high interest accounts/bonds for the next five years for a better return?
any input would be welcome. thanks in advance.

Are you willing to take the risk that your S&S ISA can go down as well as up?
You need to save in S&S ISA for a minimum of 5 years, preferably more.0
