and the REALLY good thing about being able to use the tube and buses in London is that you can do it from 9am, not 9.30, so you can get off to a great start to the day.0

Yes, ours arrived this morning and we're in Bucks too. Haven't used a bus for years I'm ashamed to admit, but with the cost of petrol and car parking I feel it's time we tried them out.0

Lewes County Council reports that the company making the new bus passes for the whole of East Sussex is running late and people may have to use their old passes until the end of this month.

Anyone on Merseyside had theirs yet? My dad rang up last week and was told they were all inthe post but he still hasn't had it and he was told the old one is no longer valid after tomorrow.
Hi, I haven't received mine yet.
Rang Council office this morning (I come under Ellesmere Port), was told new passes were to be issued in the next week and meanwhile it's OK to use old pass.
Will try my old one on the bus today - hope I don't get knocked back!

I've just returned from Dorset where I used a new Temporary pass, which enabled us to travel from Swanage to Poole and a direct run to Bournemouth. The Bournemouth run alone saved £6 each. Imagine, frequent services, no parking worries, and even though some routes detoured a bit, it was nothing more than an old-fashioned mystery trip which allowed us the opportunity to look at the scenery.
Today back home, I've discovered that a service (x4) will take us to Peterborough where a change has to be made, then off to Norwich and then to the coast, all for FREE. Yes it might take a bit longer, but what the heck, we're not in any hurry, we're pensioners with all the time in the world. A few days B&B then home again. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
