    In a LloydsTSB thread posters have stated that LloydsTSB backdated the interest as described without being asked to do so. ;)

    The others that I listed as backdating interest as described I discovered via research. ;)

    One thing that occurs to me is that the Lloyds TSB rate is fixed. Given predictions that the base rate will fall, the security of fixed rate is useful.

    Guess this needs to be built into the calculations.
